At the Hilton Golf Academy we are concerned with making sure our guests receive more enjoyment from the game of golf. The Hilton Golf Experience is designed to do just that. You will learn the game and at the same time learn that it is supposed to be fun!

We believe that one of the most important components in learning how to play the game of golf is on-course instruction. In order to ensure that students receive the most benefit from their time on the course, we spend every afternoon on the course with you. You will receive a personal playing lesson with your golf school group every day that you are in golf school!

While on course you will learn how to manage your game. Each afternoon students will learn valuable information that just cannot be taught on the practice tee. You will be taught the 5 Factors that influence every shot: Lie, Distance, Pin, Terrain, and Wind; also known as "L-D-P-T-W". These techniques were featured by the Director of the Hilton Golf Academy: Jerramy Hainline on the Golf Channel, and can be seen in our media section.

The Hilton Golf Experience Instructional Manual is comprised of the two components of the golf shot which are the "setup" and the "swing". Students are taught how to navigate their way through their personal setup before each swing they make.

Developing student’s setup and swing to work with each other will in turn create better golf shots each time.

Instruction for putting, chipping, pitching and sand play will improve your ball contact. Learn why at least 65 percent of your shots take place from 100 yards in and how to minimize those shots in order to lower your overall score.

Learn how to navigate yourself out of any uneven lie with new fail-safe solutions for trouble shots. Manage your game when the ball sits above or below your feet and also diagnose the effect uphill and downhill lies have on the distance and flight of the ball.
